Is the 2014 BMW 328i sedan a turbo?
Yes, the 328i has a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which produces 240 HP. 2014 was the first year BMW offered this turbo motor for the 328i. Before the F30 platform, the E90 offered the (non-turbo) straight-six 3.0L engine.
How fast is the 2014 BMW 328i?
It’s faster than the previous E90 platform. The F30 2.0L turbocharged engine goes 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds and has a top speed of 130mph.
Is the F30 BMW 3-series more reliable than the E90?
Not typically. The E90 had one of the most reliable BMW engines made, the 3.0L straight-six. That doesn’t mean that your F30 3-series BMW can’t make it to 200,000 with proper maintenance.
