The year range for the C6 platform is from 2005 to 2011. However, starting in 2009, there was a facelift, so some parts are different from 2009-2011.

What engine did the Audi A6 C6 have in it?

The C6 platform came with several engines. Depending on which year C6, there were the 3.2L V6 (N/A), 3.0L (Supercharged), and the 4.2L V8 (N/A) engine options.

  • 3.2L V6 (N/A) – 255 HP
  • 3.0L Supercharged – 300 HP
  • 4.2L V8 (N/A) – 350 HP

How fast is the 2009 Audi A6?

Even though the 3.0T has less horsepower than the V8, the 2009 A6 reaches 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds. The V8 4.2L A6 has a 0-60 mph time of 5.8 seconds.

Does the 2009 Audi A6 have a Turbo?

Even though Audi labels their engine as 3.0T, it’s a supercharged engine, not a turbocharged engine.

What does the T in 3.0T mean?

The “T” can either mean turbocharged as in the 1.8T or supercharged, as with the 3.0T. Either way, if you see a “T” on the trunk badge, it means it has forced induction.

What transmission did the 2009 Audi A6 have?

Audi offered the 6-speed automatic (AWD) transmission or the CVT (FWD) transmission to choose from for the 2009 A6 model year.

Is the A6 or the A4 better?

It depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for better gas mileage and a smaller ride, then an A4 is your best bet… if you want more legroom and more power, the A6 will work best for you.

2.0T vs. 3.0T, which is better?

The 2.0T isn’t available in the C6 A6, but for comparison’s sake, the 3.0T engine is better in nearly every way except for fuel economy. If fuel economy is your #1 priority, the 2.0T engine is good.

How much are Audi A6 airbags?

It depends on if you go through the dealership or another new OEM site. For the 2009 Audi A6, we have airbags ranging from $100 to $120 or so. We have them in stock if you want to go with our tested used OEM airbag parts.
