This 2007 Audi A3 with the 3.2L VR6 engine has been dismantled, cleaned, and tested.

Is the 2007 Audi A3 reliable?

Going through the reviews of this car, I’ve noticed that many positive ones expressed it being reliable with minimal need for repairs outside of routine maintenance (which doesn’t count). 

While we had a chance to drive this A3 for an extended period, we noticed no mechanical issues. It was one of the most reliable vehicles we had at our shop. That’s not to say all Audi A3’s of this year are as dependable.

Is an Audi A3 a good used car?

It’s always best to buy a vehicle that has documented maintenance done. That’s usually an indicator of how well it was cared for. This advice goes for any vehicle purchased, not just an Audi A3. 

The 3.2L VR6 seems to be more reliable than the 2.0L turbo.

Whether it’s an A3 or another model, buying a used Audi can be expensive if you buy parts NEW. Even some of the used components can set you back quite a bit.

What does S LINE get you?

This particular car (’07 A3) gets you sport suspension, different bumpers, sport seats, different interior trim, fog lights, S Line door sills.
