2005 AUDI ALLROAD 4.2L – Questions Answered

What kind of gas mileage does the ’05 Audi allroad 4.2L get?

If you want a good gas mileage vehicle, the V8 Audi allroad is not it. The fuel economy for the 4.2L is 14 MPG city and 19 MPG highway. The combined MPG is around 17 MPG. On the bright side, it only requires Regular Unleaded compared to most other Audi’s that require Premium.

How much horsepower/torque does the 4.2L C5 engine have?

The 4.2L V8 puts out 300 HP and 280 lb-ft torque.

Is the Audi allroad good in snow?

Yes, it has the quattro (AWD) system, so it handles snow with no problem. Pair it with a good set of winter (snow) tires, and you’ll be able to get through snowy winter days without any problem.

What is one common problem with the Audi allroad (C5) I should know?

One of the most common problems in the C5 allroad is the air suspension. If you notice your allroad is dipping one side, it’s most likely a leaking suspension airbag.

I have a blown steering wheel airbag; what should I do?

We have a variety of steering wheel airbags for your 2005 Audi allroad, as well as airbag modules, sensors, and wiring connector pigtails. You can find it all here: 2005 Audi allroad Air Bag Inventory.
